The premise was simple : no misrepresenting.
Conceptually the video and audio sit on the same wavelength :
in a space that is commercially honest, upfront and real

Charlie produced the 'Authors Gift' instrumental himself, and he let the trippy beats run past the vocals ; as we tag-teamed one of the best camera ending movements to any music video out there!
(The outro shot of the video is one of the best on this site (in my humble opinon lol)
Our collaboration came shortly after the release of his popular full-length album 'Love & Wavey Science' ; a concept album which documented his mental mindset through a particular period of life...

Overall this music video is fun, light-hearted and honest.
Our follow up music video 'Normal Day' built upon the same
collaboration themes and premise :
& the video-concept was an honourary tribute to Martin Scorse
& Robert De Niro's Taxi Driver role.
Charlie is visualised as a taxi driver who is humble, charming, yet professional.
We see him reflecting his on-screen choices as he considers the day's events.

My favourite critical comment about Charlie on the video was
'lol is bro an Uber driver or something?'
- Actually, yes. that was the concept!

Charlie's lyricism is honest, upfront, tactical & comedic.
His unique flow provides commentary on contemporary UK life, and pokes fun of the bear.
"using debit to settle credit"
I loved his latest album, which had eye-opening lyricism, and insight into his mind.

I sat down for an interview with Charlie on the set of video 'Normal Day'
We talk about his intro into music, his time in a crew, his recent music works, the album, and opinions on the upcoming works :
It has been great fun collaborating with Charlie on a number of recent productions.
I am happy to say that we have a number of other projects in the works, and have collaborated on a few formats outside of music.
