Framed within a nostalgic 'Web 1.0' aesthetic, Series 3.0 isn't just your average portfolio page ; it’s an immersive digital vault

At the heart of Series 3.0 lies a continued connection to authentic UK subculture and music. The collection features high-impact documentary-style visual work, including collaboration on Jammz's lead singles "No Remorse" and Director’s Cut for "Focussed".

Rather than relying on polished artificial studio setups, these visuals lean heavily into raw studio energy, pirate radio roots, and community grit. The imagery feels lived-in and real, capturing the genuine work ethic of the modern underground.

Projects like Joe Fire’s "Angry Freestyle" bring a fierce, unapologetic energy to the screen, showing a director mirroring the intensity of the work.

Beyond music... Series 3.0 showcases a deeply personal and experimental side to independent filmmaking:

  • Starrier Night: Billed as a Van-Gogh-inspired experimental film, this piece merges breathtaking celestial timelapses with heartbroken, deeply personal poetry. It captures an artist’s slip into creative obsession and vulnerability, offering a rare blend of astronomical grandeur and intimate emotion.

  • Ruby's Film x Halcyon: Perhaps the most personal project in the collection, this tribute was 18 years in the making. Dedicated to an early inspiration who shaped VELODY's journey as a director, the piece carries an emotional weight that only time and genuine dedication can craft.

Demonstrating a versatile range of filmic visuals, Series 3.0 also branches out into long-form, peaceful visual art with the side-project 4K HDR Walks Of Life. Offering over 24 hours of tranquil, immersive environmental footage, it provides an antidote to fast-paced social media feeds &inviting viewers to lock in and let the ambiance run in the background.

What ties Series 3.0  together isn't a single style, genre or editing trick - it is creative independence & freedom.

By hosting these releases natively on my independent site rather than burying them inside social media algorithms, VELODY.NET creates a space where visual craft, underground culture, and personal expression take center stage.

There's no adverts here.

Whether you come for the raw energy of UK grime visuals, the quiet reflection of celestial time-lapse, or slow-paced ambient walkthrough : Series 3.0 is a reminder of what independent filmmaking looks like when the creator retains full control of the lens.
